Default Its running!!!

Managed to find a bit of spare time to carry on with my rebuild on the rwd saff.

Fired it up for 10 mins or so to bed cams in sounded very very healthy

Spec is as follows;

YBP Late escos engine

.5 over size cosworth racing low comp pistons.
ARP con rod bolts
STD size crank
Lightly skimmed head and block
Fully balanced bottom end
Ported and polished head
ISKY valve springs
BD14 inlet
STD exhaust cam
Cometic head set
STD headbolts
Sweedish inlet
2WD exhaust manifold
Manifolds matched
Kent verniers
GRP a coil
All new sensors
TT T38 turbo
RS500 cooler (pace)
APEXI boost controller

Gonna run in on std injectors/chip.

Then its gonna be 82 lb siemens injectors
044 pump
live remap

Hoping for 450 bhp

Nice feeling when they fire up

maiden voyage completed

tickovers shite, misses when held at 3000 rpm but engine sounds healthy and it has great oil pressure.

Could do with it a bit smoother for running in period before mapping sesh.

No ides mate i have double checked timing and sensor gaps. Sounds sweet for about ten seconds then it looses its idle, gonna phone stu today see if he can send me a pre live map chip to go with the new spec. The car is on standard yellows and stg 1 chip.

That is the best thing you can do anyway as the chip you are running will be miles out for your engine now.

To gain the most you need either a 4x4 plenum(better than 2wd) or better still a small turbo escos one they will flow upto 500 bhp
