You mean they are now new tyres ? i.e. no strange wear ?

I had a similar thing on my merc and changed

front discs
rear discs
front wheel bearings
anti roll bar links
lower ball joints
had tracking done

then............. noticed the two front tyres were worn on the inside, changed them and job done

Was nieve to it as I couldn't see how tyre wear alone would give the car the shakes.

cv joint are nothing to do with mot.

cv boots are testable if they are split....but not the joints unless like some real old lotus cars, the shaft holds the suspension together

cv joints, and inner joints are very common problems on 4x4 cossies, they are at a stupid angle, and lowering makes it worse....also check engine mounts,as they split and allow the engine to lift, causing shaft issues

its normally the inner joint that causes greif....and quite hard to see a problem, i had a similar judder on mine, and new inner tripods cured it,even though the old ones looked ok...pain in the ass to diagnose...

Might be one of the three bearings on the end of the drive shaft. One of mine broke into 3 and shook like fuck when going over 60mph... Got a second hand shaft and joint and it sorted it.
