it's now time to top up the old ISA again - and the allowance has gone up from £3000 to £3600 this financial year

Gotta look at starting another, Havent really been looking on them atm. Anyone have idea whats best out there? I want one to chuck previous years into.

are Isa's really worth it at 6%? Surley you would be better off investing in other areas such as stocks & shares via a broker?

the difference is your ISA 6% is tax free, whereas your investment would not be.

if you like a risk, do some spread betting on the financial markets - also tax free

Just signed up for the ICESAVE ISA at 6.1%, only thing is you have to open with a min of £1K.

I'd read the T&C's on the Barclays ISA, it wasn't any good for me.

Already signed up to them. Would never go with anything Barclays do with regards to Savings, more strings than The Thunderbirds !
