If you feel much happier by hooning to cheer yourself up then I'm going to get another one

Like I said to you earlier m8, dont worry about it and put it behind you and keep trying. Any role in a company that is a new role is a recipe for diasater imo. They never know what they want doing from breakfast till arseholes and goal posts and objectives will be forever moved to suit their mood if things dont pan out the way they want to ....

Anyway, whats happening l8, any ideas? I know Nige is coming out to play as well and its about time us lot went out on the lash again

ok .. saw the job advertised ... thought yeah why not ... i know i can do 70 % of the job easily .. other 30 % well i damn well know i can learn it ...

so i get accepted for an interview ...

cool .. so off i trundle in the cossie ... it all goes well except its now a supposed informal chat .. the above is assumed correct... i could do it with some training (its a new role they have created)

so i think yeah it went ok .. so i dont hear anything for 7 days .. think oh well could be good or bad ..

then i get a call asking me back for a second interview... horray i think .. in the meantime i have had an e mail from him asking me to call him .. i fone up and get a really good feeling .. asking me how long notice i have to give etc...

well the more im thinking on it the more i am concentrating on the negative parts of the job (the bits i cant do ) ...

go there today and well .. i totally managed to screw it up .. came across unconfident and waffled too much

on a good note tho the bloke said if it was for just a service technician / support engineer then he would be offering me the role there and then ..

so the overall outcome is i need some experience on excel report generating etc etc... all office based stuff that i have not really had much to do with in my present roll... i need to be more confident and beleive in my outstanding natural engineering abilities ..

and we wont be taking this any further

and yes nath ... cosworth acceleration = big grinns

even if 3 young twats think its not a real cossy ...
i agreed with them at the traffic lights ... then when it was about to go change i shouted i lied and off i went never did see that nova afterwards
