Default what sort of bhp should it be?

got me a 1.6cvh (na) off my mate for my mk4 escort track toy...only realy brought the engine so that the car can be used etc, but will be having a new engine later on in the year..

just wondering what power it should be putting out, also what 0-60 time should it be able to do approx...

rebuilt with rings etc
kent/piper cam (not sure which one, maybe the fast road cam)
k&n pancake filter
4branch manifold and exhaust system

will be having a vernier pulley fitted soon, so it can be fine tuned and setup

and its going to be in a stripped out mk4 escort (just saying because of the weight)

Standard intake will restrict it, doubt you will get more than about 110bhp TBH

0-60 in 9 maybe, thats a total guess though TBH

Get some twins on it. Much better then the std one. Mate of mine made 110atw with the spec you are naming here.

1980 XR3 on a carb did 0-60 in 8.6, 113 mph, if that is any help, NOT stripped out.

105 bhp max IMO and about 9 sec to 60 provided the rest of the car is in good order.

If the cam's been in there for some mileage then it'll be miles less than above

found out its got a kent cam (not sure on the spec), when it was rebuilt its got a recon head etc..

also as above, twin choke carb, k&n, 4-2-1 manifold-system and im running it on a LSD box..

also it will have a vernier on it soon to squeeze a few more bhp out of it..

how much bhp do people reckon at the wheels?
