Default best engine degreaser...

need to get me some 2moro to clean my engine block...

which stuff has people used or know anyone that has used it and been good...

litre bottle dont seem bad for Ł11.25 if it works good...well thats what it is on the bay

Wheel acid and tfr work pretty well.

What are you using to rinse it off?

grease-off if you can get hold of it

or if its really thick dirt, brush-on gunk is the best. or petrol....

I wouldnt let wheel acid anywhere near the engine bay mate, it'll eat through your seals and gaskets. Nasty stuff wheel acid.

As said, get some junk and use a brush to work it in the stubborn areas.

Petrol is ok for getting the first layer off, but it isn't water soluable and leaves a residue.
