Default will droping an exhaust size for tight bend effect performance?

Im going to have a 2.5" system made up for my nova, but the guy said he will probably have to step it down to 2.25" for the bend over the rear axle.

is that likely to effect much or is it a pretty common thing to do?
its a 2ltr turbo and will be running about 270bhp

At your power level, it will be fine, but yes generally speaking it DOES effect it when you have to start doing stuff like that.

As above it won't be a problem at that power level and probably even more to be fair.

I'd say minimum u want is 2.5"

Standard rs turbos for instance come from ford with a 2.5" system...

and with the old scorpion exhausts, they are restrictive with them having a 2" pipe in the back box...

so if 2" is restrictive on a std rst, then i'd say 2.25 will be for you.
