i tried at my local model shop and they didnt sell it!

i've heard about using screenwash fluid, is there any particular chemicals i need to look for on the bottle? i dont wanna put the wrong stuff in!

i looked at hauser racing but theres no online shop, i guess i could ring and do it mail order?

i dont know if there is different types of methanol for different applications? can the methanol people use in biodiesel be used in water injection? nobody seems to know anything about it. its an american kit i have, but they seem to word everything different over there regarding their chemicals. and i cant buy the stuff from USA cos they wont ship fluids overseas.

surely there is people in the UK who are using aquamist who know something about this?

methanol is methanol really, as long as its pure.

type in chemical dealers in google, its well cheap from somewhere like that for a barrel of it, depending how much you will be using.

ok cool. had a quick look round, it seems to be going for Ł6 a litre on ebay (plus Ł4 post) but there is laboratory online suppliers who do it alot cheaper.

i've just look on the aquamist forum, there is a sticky thread about suppliers in the UK but they all seem to be local chemical suppliers. the problem is, they will only supply to you if you have a company name. i've just emailed one local to me (who says they wont supply online to private individuals) to see if they will let me call in and buy it in person.
