On the topic of Mayweather and his joke of a display at the weekend, is anybody going to the Hatton fight end of May?

A few of us are going from work.

Its on the Saturday 24th of May at the city of Manchester Stadium.

its not that hatton doesnt want to fight him in my opinion hes goin to have a couple of easy fights so every1 thinks hes the best around again. Then hell fight mayweather again which will prove nufin and be the same outcome only quicker and then he'll retire cnt see him ever fightin witter but i fink it would be a class fight and 1 i would like to see.

Hope hatton does fight him and knocks him out shut him up init.

I think Hatton has to fight Witter. I'm with Porkie on this. I always was a bit of a fan, and had he beaten Mayweather, then would say forget Witter, hes a nobody. But since he didn;t beat Mayweather, I think hes scared Witter will send him the same way.

IMO, Witter doesn't have the heart to beat Hatton

Im dissagree..... witter has made a carrier out of slagging down hatton. Why should hatton give him the biggest pay day of his carrier. I wouldn't if i was hatton ... why should he line witter pockets .. bollocks no way.

But hatton will have to fight him some time if he wants to be the best light weletrweight in the world as witter holds the wbc world title which means at the moment he's the man to beat i hope it happens bu some how cant see it coming off.

Hatton should realise that he ain a fully blown welterweight so should stay well clear of another fight with floyd or even fighting de la hoya it will all end the same for hatton in another loss.

Witter has the style to beat Hatton in a few peoples opinion. He is very awkward, fast, elusive and hits hard.

He is the No1 Light welter in Rickys REAL weight division and holds the best belt.

AND HE IS BRITISH.

Ricky IS bottling and swerving it in my and alot of the Boxing worlds opinion.

There was a SCATHING full page open letter written to Ricky from the editor of Boxing weekly a few months back...

I fink the thing with a good fighter when they lose for the 1st time they dnt really want there next fight to be a huge 1 because hatton mite not be ova the floyd loss yet and would wana get bak into it.

totally agree with porkie thou does look like hatton has been avoidin witter for some time now and i think ppl are starting to ask questions now like is he scared to fight him.

I just hope hatton stays @ this weight now cos he wont beat any of the world chapions up @ welterweight nor will witter...

Not a hope. Said so the first time, and will say it again. Theres no way on earth he'll ever beat Mayweather, and TBH I doubt he'll stand much chance against De la Hoya, even though hes cracking on a bit now.

I just dont think he has the strength and the stamina of the Money Man.

For every day Hatton trains, Mayweather is also training and improving.

Hatton will never beat mayweather the same thing will happen only quicker. and who ever said mayweather will slip he ain the best fighter on the planet for nothing and this guy is always ready to fight.
