can anyone give me any info on my cossy that ive bought reg H964 DDS iv drove it for a week sensibly and its melted a piston

i was looking for some info on weather its been damaged before or finding a previous owner would be great. The engines been rebuit before as it has .75 oversise big end bearings but nothing in my service history ?
