SUBWAY
The initial investment ranges from c. £100,000 to c. £245,000 for a traditional location and from £45,000 for a non-traditional location.
+ franchise fee + royalties
I personally think £100,000 start up cost isn't bad. I assume this includes the franchise fee of £6000 and royalties are about 15% a year it seems. For a well known brand i think that's pretty good and youi don't even have to worry about sourcing the ingredients etc cos they have the infra structure already set up. I'd say it would be a better bet than setting up a cash collection, buying armoured vans, generating clients etc.
Get a good location and over a 5 year period then surely you'd make good money, those places are always packed!!
Just my opinion...

Don't think too big.
Nowadays if you have the slightest clue about anything, its stupidly easy to make money out of property!
I started out with nothing, but a visa for a desposit on a mortgage, i developed the flat with my then limited skills, sold the house, made enough money to cover the visa, and cover another 2 deposits made money of that, after about a year everything went mental, then i went into buy to lets.
Lets just say i'm not doing too bad for myself nowadays!
