Default Converted man needs help!!!

After many of years denial, I am gonna get myself an Cosworth. Although I have friends that have these cars I am looking to get as much advice as I can. I have a reputation of buying lemons and I wish to squash them ( like my little joke!!! No, I will carry on then!). The only spec's I am really after is 2wd and a few after market mods. I am also prefering a lower mileage car but I know these cars are used alot everyday. I am also undecieded about a 3 Door or a sapph. What are the differances between them?.

Hope you guy's can help

Welcome mate,

Saph makes a great sleeper in my opinion - most people won't take much notice until you go hooning past at 170mph

whichever you go for you'd be best going for one that either has low mileage or even better one that's only done a few thousand miles on a rebuilt engine. You NEED to make sure though that any work which has been done has been done by a reputable tuner and ofcourse you'll want ALL the documentation to back it up!

A new engine will cost you anything from 3-5K depending what needs done!

The 3 door has a tendancy to be a little bit more arse happy with regards to snapping out of shape. But then a saff can be provked very easily. Basically which one do u like the look of most?

The money your looking to spend Si you'll get a much better spec saff mate.

Budget about 6k right?

That buys ya a ropey 3 door or a mint stage 3 or above saff

Trust me mate, the last thing you want is a ropey cosworth
