just brought a scooby again!!!!!....now with pics
This has been building up for a while now and i saw a car too good to miss so last night thought fuck it and brought the fucker.
Tis a classic shape 98 type r in silver with electric heated and cooled recaros and a very very rare electric glass sunroof.
Everything has been uprated on the car and i cant fookin wait to pick her up.
Not sure what to do with the cossie now!!!!!
I just dont have the time at the mo for a cossie so may be selling up soon!!!
Had a P1 a year or so ago and i must say that was an awesome car which i missed hence the reason for going back......want a fast reliable car that i dont have to spend all my time working on.

congrats mate. my favourite scooby. and good to see people getting into the scooby world rather than evos/bmws (always been an impreza fan more than the evo).

brief spec...leda coilovers,uprated fuel and oil pumps,bob rawle remap on link ecu,18in gold prodrive wheels,version 6 bodywork upgrades,larger top mount cooler,whiteline drop links and uprated arb bushes.
This is just the start of the mods...will update when i can be bothered to write an essay..lol

electric glass sunroof?, now that is rare!, we had a 22B in last week for mapping, 2.5L 370 bhp and 380 lbs/ft at 1.5 bar, six speed box etc, proper tool of a car, that had the poxy letterbox sunroof though!

well...picked the car up today and its awesome....absolutely love it,going out for a blat tonight so will keep you posted tomoz.
Ive never seen so many receipts for a car and it has just under 50K of bills.
Got a bill for about Ł500 quids worth of real carbon dash bits and even has a real carbon steering column shroud.
Couple of little niggles to sort out but nothing major......every second hand car has these.
Exhaust is soooo fucking loud too,one of the loudest ive heard...tis a full decat haywood and scott.
Sorry for waffling but im a little bit excited about the car at the mo!!!!!!!!!!

just finding my feet
when i first picked up my scoobie i thought the exhaust was way way way too fucking loud,,,, then the other day i said to the missus that it seems to have got quiter
then i went out in the BMW,,,,,,,,, couldnt hear the exhaust at all,, went back in the scoobie and its loud again PMSL
you get used to it
well motorways you wont hear the radio when on boost,,,, but thats cool as the falt fours sound the nuts

I love the lights and the colour so there ...lol.....silver is quite a rare colour on the type r's and the car got soo many looks at a recent meet.
The handling on this car is just awesome....much better than the P1 i had a year or so ago and much better than any cossie....pmsl.
Reason for this is there have been a lot of mods on suspension....white line drop links with uprated bushes,anti dive kit,full powerstation modified geometry set up and the steering has been shimmed to reduce bump steer.Goes round bends at silly speeds and doesnt even hint of getting out of shape.

i love it on the rims now....currently booked in for refurb next week but must admit i have been looking at different rims....WR1's would look cool actually.
May get someone to photoshop them on.......anyone???
