I've got a 106 diesel as a runaround. The battery light came on a few days ago, goes off when the car is reved. I've put a multi meter on the terminals of the battery, when reved it shows 14.4v and checked the belt on the alternator. I asumed it was the battery, so today I got a new battery, fitted it and still the red battery light comes on!! Grrr!!!

Any ideas??
