Play? Loads - Master of Puppets, pretty much everything off the "Black" album, fair ammounts of Megadeth, Slayer, the entire RATM self-titled album (pain having to switch tuning from E to drop-D all the time tho )
Currently working on;
Top Gun Anthem (cheesey yes, but it's a cool tune, with a nice solo)
Gary Moore's Parisienne Walkways
Joe Satriani's "Flying in a Blue Dream" and "Time Machine"
Not being a solo-style guitarist - and not ever having had ANY lessons at all ever - I find these quite difficult. All of them I can do the melody lines, but not the twiddly "solos" which is what I am finding hard!

Music is too subjective, there is no "best"
I've given up with playing electric as I'm a massive electric blues fan and there's no way I'm going to be playing anything by Jimi or SRV anytime soon so I dont see the point.
Sticking with acoustic now and really enjoying playing alot of marc bolan/T-Rex stuff, George Harrison, bit of Oasis etc..

I'm after a superstrat with a floyd trem, and I might be tempted to fit a D-Tuna to it, although with that I wouldn't be able to do pull ups.....

Oh it's incredibly easy (not sure there is a "hang of it" as such as it's so simple) but it's still a pain tho, cos after you drop the E to a D, when you wanna play something else you have to tune back to E again lol....

Im not sure theres a best tune, it more depends on which mood your in etc.
I got married just before christmas, we had a band play for us all night. I got on stage with them and played acoustic/sung. Had all the girlies crying
Pink floyd - wish you were here
Incubus - I miss you
Pearl Jam - Black
I suppose the best song i can play at the mo is nirvanas unplugged version of david bowies the man who sold the world, although it sounds great in electric.
Im trying to prefect soundgarden black hole sun at the mo, getting there...
solo acoustic -

I know! At the mo I only have the ESP Explorer, but am on the lookout for a cool Superstrat - Jackson, Charvel, ESP, that sort of thing. Ideally one with a humbucker at the bridge and 2 single coils. Came across a wicked Kramer recently, quadrail humbucker at the bridge, with 2x dual rail "single coils", but missed it on ebay
As for KC - reply to my PM and then I'll know when you want me!
