had 2 sets, my first got nicked so I eventually bought a second one after I took my cossie engine out with spanners. Both were £100 on special. Cant go wrong and they have seen plenty of use.

Although, I have lost my 10 and 13 spanner, 30 torx and 4mm alan key bit has snapped, 1/4 drive 8mm socket has walked too. Might call in over the weekent to return it to it former glory.

I have nicked my brothers as he's a useless cunt, the only problem i have found is that a lot of the bigger sockets etc. are 3/8",when they could do with being 1/2" as the ratchet has more leverage, other than that they are excellent, and the returns policy is second to none, especially if you snap a t40 security bit trying to remove headbolts on an astra diesel!

is it one of those kits that although it has 150 pieces less than half of them will ever be of use with the rest being cheap obscure 'filler'?

the lasck of decent selection of 1/2 inch sockets is a bit off putting, but for everyday jobs there is not a lot that i could consider mathcing this for the price and variety

if thats the one in the red metal tool chest with the drawers its cheap crap that wont last the distance. plus at leat half of the bits youll never use anyway but at least those bits will last.

Halfords pro stuff is the bollocks, can't see why people even bother with snap on at the stupid prices they charge, we have a lot of snap on at work (RAF) and it has to be said I am not that impressed with it really, people just get blinded by the name IMHO...

does any body no if this would work say you was to reserve it on line then you get 10% off so that's £89.99 which is a good deal but would they then let you use your trade card and get a further 15% off the £89.99 which would be an even better price or would they say no

they are on offer most of the time and i'm sure they still come up as £100 on the halfords trade card when they are not on offer
I paid £142 for mine a few months ago on a Halford's trade card. The Trade card does not give much discount, if any, unless your buying oil filters and other servicing stuff apparently!!

Our first tool kit was free

and do they replace missing tools? As me and me bro's lost most the original one
