Default anyone breaking a st170 or have aloom?

need part of a loom for a sensor currently putting the st170 head on my RS and the plugs are different on the sensor its the one on the head on the back right hand side

wow VVT head onto an RS engine. Mucho respect for doing that mate. Definitely will be following this to see how you get on.

Good luck with sourcing a loom.

There was one on ebay a few days ago complete and brand new I think. Dont know if its still there

only need the 1 connector! spoke to ian howell tonight and hes gave me advice so no longer need it! wont be using the vvt buddy! would do a project thread but im half way through lol

dammit lol. I thought this was going to be a VVT head RS engine!!

Everyone who sources a damn ST170 head disables VVT lol. I just want to see someone do it instead of wimping out of the cost/effort so I can copy it

so what's the advantage of using an ST170 head if you disable the VVT???

It flows loads more, its a much better head

and as far as I know its variable cam timing not VVT like Vtech

its just a different name, vvt changes the inlet cam timing thus being variable valve timing.

The st170 has bigger ports and valves as standard

as said above, the st170 is a very good head for flow and can support big bhp specs
