Default Sky question

Nothing to do with UFO type sky but looking to get sky+ box as only got free view at the mo. have never got it before as always been put off by constant repeats.
what deals have you got and what price. is it worth getting full package even though I dont watch any football but I do like all motorsport, boxing etc. got a young lad who will be soon wanting all the kids channels. whats the options? Is it worth it?

Cheers.
