hello just wondering if any1 here knows what may be causing it to overheat.the obvious ones are air lock in the water system,and its got a e30 3.0l rad is there anythink else that could be causing the overheating.

Also what could be causing it to misfire checked the lamber sensor,checked coil packs,only other thing i can think of is a fuel starvation.

yeah,you will have a airlock,the system does NOT self bleed,use the bleed screw near where you fill the system,and fill the car while its running,this will sort it,had same problem on my 325.

 

water pumps fail on then thats what i would check for mate!!!
