Here today, gone tomorrow.
I look back through your old posts,
In an attempt to drown my sorrow.
All the laughter, I could borrow.
I never got the chance to meet you,
I think of all the great times we had,
They could of all been face to face
This makes me very sad.
Although I never met you,
There are moments I shall treasure,
And Every person who met you,
Told me it was a pleasure.
I’ll cry a tear for you tonight Al,
You was such an amazing guy,
Why you had to be taken from us,
I’ll always wonder why.
Rest in peace Alan, the forum will never be the same again, I wish we had all shared a room in the Blackpool weekend now, I missed out on a fantastic oppurtunity to meet you mate, I will never forget you.

Benni I started to fill up reading that.
Agreed PF should send flowers or something as he was a valued member of the community and made many friends on here.

Does anyone know who we can arrange this with as time is getting short? We just need to get some paypal donations and arrange a wreath, but i dont know who with. I PM'd Magic Numbers on his first topic but have had no reply so he musnt have been back on PF since and I dont know who else to ask.

im gutted to be reading this.out of anyone al was one person i thought had the stamina to beat it
he was such a good fella,always upbeat and fun. my thoughts are with his family and his little girl.
he was looking into moving to colchester before he became ill.and i said i'd happily be there to show him about and go out for a few drinks to make him welcome.shame it didnt happen.
i know he will be up there watching over us all.well done al for the strong fight you put up.and we will see you on the other side buddy.
