I was hoping for a picture of your actual legs!!
Had to replace mine on the S1 too! They wren't as bad as that but they were on their way out so just did them while it was a shell!

how hard to do? i have a s2 shell that needs doing, i have both of the rear chassis rails to do it. however, its not your normal panel repair!

The initial difficulty was finding replacement chassis legs. Tim got these ones for me. We weren't sure if they would fit easily and might need some persuasion but was told they actually went on quite well
Think that the removal and cleaning old waxoyl off was the worst part
Also, having to remove all the rear interior, fuel system, brakes and suspension has been a pain.. (hasn't it ding
i wouldn't know much about it cos i've come home cos i was freezing and a bit poorly lol

When I replaced mine, they were readily available!! That was about 5 years ago though!!
