Whats the crack with this website http://askmid.com/askmid.aspx I heard the police get there info from it for the national police database? Im going to pick my van up tomorrow, which i insured on Tuesday, but it comes up as uninsured. I've not recieved anything through the post yet and unless it comes tomorrow how do i prove im insured if im pulled?

Edit: Im a bit paranoid as i saw it on a program, they seized someones car as it didn't show the database, yet they were insured.

 

just done my wifes m3 which is insured and taxed and moted and it came up no good.

So i would not worry too much mate

 

If I put in the reg numbers for my wife or my son's cars it confirms they are insured and gives me the make and model detail but when I put mine in it says it is on the database but instead of model details I just get a big "one way" sign - why?

My scamera ticket contained the right info so I know it exists in "the system" somewhere!

 

my fiesta turbo comes up as uninsured, when its insured on our traders policy, ive been stopped for apparent no insurance and when ive rang tradex they simply said carry my policy with me
