Default STILL having problems

escort rs turbo s2. car accelerates hard as normal to around 4500rpm but if you push it past that to 5000-6500rpm its stuggles, then just gives up and runs 'lumpy'? like the car just returns to idle at 60-70mph and has no power, makes a really deep rumble like its not running right.

ha well if you get any luck mate then let me know, could be electrical. im sure im gonna have to book it in, the car used to be rapid but now runs a bit soft compared to what it used to.

when the power dies the engine runs really rough, only does it at higher revs, thats what makes me think it a compression problem?

Take it back to Stu - get it booked in - what would you prefer - Ł250 for a healthcheck and cure now or Ł2500 for an engine later?
