Evening guys,
Was chatting to a mate regarding his Small Turbo Escort Cosworth last night, and we came onto the subject of the diagnostics port (3pin & 2pin on the inner wing).
Anyone know anything about this? We all know how to make the LED/Lamp indicators to flash the fault codes up - but what else can it do? I'm told using a Snap-On scanner you can get live information (such as injector duration etc).
Is this done in a similar way to ODBD2, by interogating it for Parameter IDs? Or does it use some pre-obd protocol?
If anyone has any information on the protocol, or even just pin-outs for the plugs It'd be appreciated
Cheers
