Default What offset for 3 door?

I have searched this topic and it mostly covers sapphire wheels and not 3 door...the question is,what is the best sizes (width) and offset for 17" wheels on a 3 door sierra as it seems that a lot of wheels do not look quite right on this model, especially on the rears as they sit inwards too far.

you dont need different offsets front/rear, but if you want to fill the arches you can getaway with less offset on the rear..

Do you think that 17x7 et 35 would look ok??? i am not sure what the right tyre size would be 205 or 215???

ET24 on a 9J rim on the rear and ET27 8J on the front, anything with a higher offset will look like an e type

Here's mine, currently in the paint shop for a full respray and majoy rear arch mods to clear the 245's on this offset so I can then lower it to a non tractor style stance Also changing the wheel centre colour to silver.

How do you measure offset btw? I was told these were ET15 but after seeing rsnissans im a bit unsure if mine are 15's??

i cant remember but i think these work out at et25 and you defo have to trim the kit if you go over et 35 with 235 tyre

and also depends on how high you have the car ........ mine does not squat at all and it's pretty low

i know all my grpa rl7 are all et 25

aarrrghhhh dont be putting stuff in my head tbh I was going to but im putting too much into the paint job now to go and hide it all with stickers, besides if I ever changed my mind and took them off again the sun would surely have bleeched the paint slightly so i'd be a tad stuck with it lol
