help, getting media player to open when clicking mp3s?

Default help, getting media player to open when clicking mp3s?

installed nero, and everytime i want to play a video / mp3 it automatically opens and plays in neros crap!!!

how do a change the settings back to windows media player?

go to the nuro settings, and just un tick the boxes which say its gna open mp3's wma's etc etc etc, always happens when you installed sound software

right click on the file you want to open, go to "open with" then go down to the bottom and select "choose program" then when the list shows up, pick media player, and tick the box underneath saying "always use the selected program to open this kind of file"

now if you double click on any file of the same type (MP3?)
it should open in media player

mk3matt, can find the settings in nero have looked.

indycos, thats what ive done before, but aint getting the option? just open, and then it does in nero!

right click on a mp3 file, select properties, then change , and then select what you want it to open with

done

right sort of worked, has changed the mp3s on my hdd to play in wmp

but on lone clickable ones still nero?

ie click here http://www.htfr.com/ and select a record listen to mp3, and opens in nero for me.
