When moving, faster you go,louder higher pitched it gets. Dont matter what revs if its in gear or in neutral, clutch in or out, engine on or off, speed related and think its from front (4x4 btw)

thinking diff,as seems centre of car close to bulkhead at a guess. deffo not wheel bearing just seeing if id forgot anther posibility on a 94 impreza (missis car)
