i will rephrase it how can i find out a chassis number with only a reg number

Hi Barry, hope you're well mate, hows the RST?

I don't think you'll find anywhere free unless it's someone doing you a favour as it requires getting information from the DVLA database as far as I know.

am sure it comes up on a gold check hpi but think there bout 40 quid if a mind rite.....

About getting the chassis number, has no-one at your work got access to HPi or Experian? Or ring a main dealer and see if they can get the numbers from the registration?

I'm pretty sure they shouldn't be giving out that kind of info though, but you may get someone on the phone that doesn't know that..
