Why is it?
People dont half jump to some bizzare conclusions.
Why does everything have to be WRONG in some peoples eyes?

That user is not listed as green because until he has access, his full mods rights are not instated for security reasons. Once he actually has access, i will switch it on, at which point, his username will go green.

"Bad Coding" Yeah, cos VBulletin are clueless yeah and there couldnt possibly have been any other reason...

It's sometimes easier in life to accept you are wrong, even when you are right. No matter what you say, you will always be wrong, only one way is allot easier.

Benni.

Well it wouldnt seem that way in this instance would it?
The question was about a standard feature of VBulletin and the reply from you and Dingy was "Bad Coding"

Go and remove one of your mods from the mods group and leave him in the moderators listing and you will see it leaves his name in normal colour, indicting his moderators powers are not active but he is a recognised albeit underpowered member of the moderator team.

these are the the controls that comes with vb as standard that do actually work

then u select primary group

or this way

as mod rights are setup in a different panel , so ib admin forgot ! well lets drag em out and shoot him i think they can be forgiven due to the amount of work they have done in this past week

Jay, what are you talking about? I know how it works, i set the mods rights myself personally mate.

Ive left Scott off as for all we know, the "Hacker" may have been using his account, so since i know damn well he cant access PF, i left him out of the primary usergroup on purpose mate, as indcicated in my post earlier that you seem to have not bothered to read.

Where did I say it was bad coding All I said was it missing coding which it was but now we've found out it was due to Martyn not being in the proper "user group" which has <font color="green"><b> </b></font> set for that user group.

Instead of jumping on the defensive you could have explained from your first post the answer to pete mcrash's question and we wouldnt have had all this shite.
