If its not broke don't fix it...
My ST220 had new rubber subframe bushes 6 months ago but I fancy fitting some poly ones to improve the handling (also have poly ARB bushes). I don’t mind paying the labour costs, but something tells me if its not broke don’t fix it. Just say the car falls off the ramps, just say I crash on the way to the garage, all for the sake of some bushes that didn’t even need fitting.
Am I being silly, or should I just book it in at MIJ Performance?

Look at it this way, if you don't change them then the old ones will probably collapse whilst you're powering around a bend, you'll end up sliding off down a deep ravine and land upside down in a river, and just as you are crawling out with 2 broken arms and a broken leg the whole thing goes up in flames and you get 75% burns but survive.
How would you, or your Dad feel then?

i feel like that too.
i went to fit a 65mm throttle body on mine despite the fact i knew i wouldnt gain any horses/torque from it and had problem after problem after problem and after a shedload of cash and parts reverted back to original . making me weary of doing any mods at the moment.
I will say this though for mods: get pukka parts and a decent mechanic to do it. Pay your money's worth and it'll be fine. 2nd hand parts are a gamble and somebody who isnt very clued up will make a hash of it. So in other words do it properly first time round
