Default spark plug gap

on a turbo'd engine, would adjusting the gap, more importantly making it bigger, effect the ignition in a good way?

As far as i am aware the biggest gap you can have without a misfire is best.

as above the biggest gap you can run on your coil / ignition setup, i think there is a way you can calulate it
