I personally would take the 28k.
I know it would be 'honorable' to stick with the original bid, but you're talking about 3k. That buys a half decent Cossie, Scooby or R32 GT-R!!! Or a 20V Elise engine conversion!!!

Just got back from Donny after Seans 1st real outing in anger at full boost, and all i can say is if you get the same spec as his car, you will be very very impressed! Its ballistic.
Faultless mechanically too, although he did have a slight bodywork problem

Too fast for the dodgy fiberglass body work ![Sad](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)
Basically the roof deformed at around 155-160 on the back straight, to the point where the wind got under it and ripped it clean off the car. Unfortunately as if that wasnt enough, it was bolted to the engine cover, rear clam, etc.........
So the car is a mess
no roof no engine cover, destroyed rear clam which in turn smashed the carbon fiber rear wing. Not a good day.

No, I enjoy my cars and my work and I dont see £500 quid as a huge sum of money despite having none lol. Cant think of anything Id like less than selling a car locally!
Im sure most folk on here have wasted 500 quid over a couple of years on stuff that matters even less tbh

not a good sign then at all then, whats the plans? I assume they will need to be reinforced somewhat if the standard panels, fit or fixings arent up to the job?

downer.. was just thinking about this the other day.
personally i'd sell it to the first one that can come and collect.. that way you avoid messers (hopefully) and if the first guy is pissing about you have 2 more to fall back on..
