Default Plastic bodykit repair????????

Im looking on buying a series one rst bodykit,but one of the arches are cracked.Is this repairable?? and i dont mean with fiberglass.... I heard you can get it plastic welded but wouldnt know where to go.The crack is approx 3" long. Im in the heathrow area if anyone knows someone local.Thanks

I read in a copy of Car Mechanics about plastic welding, so I know it's totally possible. I can't help you otherwise.

there is/was a bloke about 10 mins from me that plastic welds bike plastics

Depending on the type of plastic it can be welded.

IIRC S2 RST kits arent weldable.

We had one in at work and Im sure it wouldnt weld.

yea can be done depending on the plastic, one of my mates dabbled in it a bit, not easy to do. very skilled job

The S1 kit is kind of oilly when warmed up, so can't really be plastic welded, i no, i've tried
