it's been that way for months and months now and we still don't kick off about it so what's the odds that the fat northern twat is going to stop the 2p increase in a few months time?

£5 per gallon? You'll be lucky. Didn't even make a gallon at BP the other day with a fiver - only went there because they were the only ones open at silly o'clock on a Sunday. BP raped my wallet! BP = British Pirates! 116p per litre of their finest Ultimate urine, ahem, petrol. Wouldn't mind if it was actually better than the other local alternatives, but it's not, so I really do despise paying a premium for it.

Been thinking about this a lot in the last few days (when I heard it was going to be £1.50 soon)

It really has become noticeable recently at the pumps how little you get for your money!

"In one week, the UK price of petrol has shot up a penny and diesel even more. At the same time, market commentators have reported a gasoline glut in the US, enabling them to sell cut-price fuel to Nigeria.
"Drivers in the UK are asking why their car fuel prices are soaring while petrol is being offered at a discount elsewhere."

the simple fact is that we pay over £1.10 a litre now, dont really matter how the money is shared out, i think that most of the people are aware of the tax that we pay on it although ive heard a few percentages now ranging from 60-80% tax.

also BP reported record profits last year, cant all be tax.

i dont think they make all their money through the blueberry muffins lol.

the fact is we are all going to have to get very economical cars to use everyday.

80% tax stop blaming the fuel companies and oil companies for the excessive price
how much do the oil companies invest to supply you petrol ,they make 4 p a litre
how much do the government invest to earn their 82p a litre
so fuel is actually 22p alitre dilivered to your fuel tank from bp and shell
gordon brown charges us all 82p extra

So why do we keep getting tax increases when the cash seems to dissapear into the governments??
where does it go? why do we not have an nhs that actually works properly,a properly funded armed force?? Enough police to actually make a difference to crime, or roads without potholes, i think ray charles and stevie wonder made a friday effort to fix the ones in my area!!
The garages went up 2p in 3days at my area.

Gordon must be laughing his head off, the fuel tax then VAT as well. the higher the price, the more vat he gets. the cunt wont lower it as its the ultimate cash cow

i move cars around for a living and its costing me a fortune in diesel.

Pisses me off when i give people quotes and they say its a bit high.....dont they realise that the majority of the price is in the derv FFS.

Over the last couple of months with the fuel price increases im getting about 35-40 miles less from a tank of fuel......when the fuck is it gonna stop getting out of control??

When the people of this country stop moaning about it get together and say enough is enough, the government rape us because they can get away with it, nothing shits a politician more than losing his seat, but we moan all the time but do fuck all, we have the power to stop this but do nothin, just the english way i guess
