Default Internet Help

I don't know if it's something wrong with my connection but there are loads of websites I haven't been able to access properly in the past few days, just random stuff like the pictures not loading on the h samuel website, and the slc site and youtube not working at all. I can't believe that so many sites just happen to be down at the moment, so what's wrong with my connection and how can I fix it? Security settings etc haven't been changed, could it just be that AOL is being crap at the mo?
Hope someone can help!

I have EXACTLY the same problem - as of the last couple of days.

Pages not loading, not loading completely etc.

Most annoyingly I'm chatting to a fit girl on facebook, and that site doesn't work at all for me beyond my own page.

Virus perhaps? Anyone know much about this?

I can't do that as my Windows may not be entirely of legitimate origin

Im not aware of any update that would stop half your websites not working if it wasnt there?
sounds far more likely to be service provider end surely?

I never used to do updates, but got 'up to date'(lol) with them a few weeks ago, so can't be that... I'm guessing it's AOL being crap then

Very unlikely to be a service provider issue.Do you use AOL to browse or click to internet explorer?

I use IE on my computer. Plusnet is my Broadband ISP.

Would be surprised if IE was at fault, simply due to so many people using it - there would be loads of us on here with the problem.

Does seem strange and I can think of no other changes I've made on my PC in recent weeks. Only been a problem in the last few days.

Odd that JX Babe has similar problems to me, at a similar time to me.

Never used AOL for browsing, only IE. Also only been a problem in the past few days, though I'd been away for a week and not used it until Fri so it could have been going on longer.

Saw the youtube thing as well! But it still wasn't working for me today either. However, have just restarted my laptop and it seems to have done the trick I think! Housemates laptop was accessing everything fine so I figured it couldn't have been the service provider.

Someone on another forum I use was having the same problem.

He cured it by downloading the Flash removal software and reinstalling it.

Uninstall...

http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewConten...7&sliceId=2

Reinstall...

http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/do...=ShockwaveFlash

Hope this helps?
