tell them its not acceptable, if you declared all your mods add up what they are worth as second hand items and use that to add to what the value of your car would be without the smash. buying back should be no problem too unless its a cat a write off... but i dont think so by the pics. keep on their back cause i got dicked about for ages hen my old s2 got nicked!

 

for instance i got offered Ł1900 when my old car was nicked, told them no way, reminded them about my mods (konis, samco's, k&n, chip and they came back with Ł2500. not great but better.

so next question, are they clued up enough to walk up to it, laugh and walk away? the exterior will look 100% standard.

 

ffs strip the fucker quickly and replace with standard bits, if they can find a reason not to pay out they won't, but to be honest is it worth claming and loosing your NCB, you would get more money selling bits to cover the cost or jus tre-shell it, there are loads of 2wd saff shells knockin about

 

they will have a proper engineer to check over it. and if they can help it they wont pay out! think you would be best off breaking it mate
