Friends just got a Evo 4, fantastic car i love driving it lol. he's with Admiral i think, Shocking on fuel though, we went to Scunny to pick up my GT4 and once at the end of a 120 mile round trip he'd used about 3/4's of a tank lol and that was just driving steady.

Craig - Not as bad as you may think.
Brothers got through first tank in 200 odd miles, was depressed until he filled it up, small tank on them! Lol.
Such capable cars, highly recommend them.

I had ane evo with a remap and it was pretty good on juice, it was running about 340bhp and was better than any standard evo I've had.
I've just had an insurance quote on an evo 5 for me and the mrs. £630 fully comp.. seems pretty reaosnable (I'm 31, she's 27) That was the 1st quote too. I'm looking to possibly get an evo 5 in a few months as our new baby friendly vehicle! I've heard newborn's like evo's

evo's are great cars, people who come into work don't seem to like the evo 10, they look at them & moan about bits on them........... i think they look great, a bit to up to date but they grow on me every time i look at them (the black & the blue ones look better than the red imo)

ive got an Evo 5, remapped ecu making 365bhp, goes quite nicely. Shouldnt say this... but... ive not had many problems in the last 18 months of ownership... other than doing 2 organic clutches in 10k miles, so i opted for an Exedy twin plate as theyre meant to last a lot better... for some reason the clutches are a real weak point for the Evo's.
in my experience too the Evo 6 is easier/cheaper to insure than the Evo 5, which seems a little odd in my eyes... I'm 26 with 8yrs NCB, 3 points (SP30) paying £1070 FC all mods declared.
youre reasonably local to me... if you want to pop up sometime and have a look/run out in mine feel free to drop me a pm

cool cars imo, although a little on the thirsty side. servicing isnt as bad as people make out either, 200 quid every 4500 miles, unless you choose to diy it of course.
