Thinking of selling the XR2
Been considering this for a while now, do I carry on with the project, or ditch it, its been sat in the garage now for a year and I just seem to have lost all interest in getting it on the road. I dont really want it anymore, would rather spend my monety getting a newer car thats fast from the start!
Probably would sell it for £500 with all mods.

It was, but a year on and nothing has happened, I haven't heard from tommy yet about if its ready or what state its in. By this time I recon he has sold it to someone else!
Just getting cold feet about it.
Especially now as I'm getting moaned at for having it sat in the garage doing sweet fa.

The engine was defo giving to Tommy, along with a couple high spec parts off my old fiesta. Personally I think you should sell it mate. Glad you didn't say so a couple months ago when I was still intersted in my xr2, I would have ended up buying it!

Stu, not being funny, but why would you drop an engine off for what was (i'm guessing) at least a 3 or 4 grand build, and then "not bother to ring him as you don't have his number"

Ring them. Speak to Tommy or Lynn. See what the story is and then decide. They are extremely polite and helpful on the phone.

Yeah always been good those two and looking at the projects he has been doing aint surprised.
Yep engine was dropped off with turbo and ecu. But never dropped off any money. But that was like December 2006 now. If you want confirmation call Bazza, he drove me there with it in the back of his estate! And he still has my trolley we used to put it in the car!
Just been so busy with work, my promotion, doing 14 hour days, the court case with my ex ect ect just haven't really had the time to think about it until last week I opened up the garage and saw the car sat there and though, "you deserved to be used and owned by someone who actually has time to look after you."
I mean christ I haven't even sorted out my lisence back since the ban.
