if registered before march 1st 2001 (which im assuming both are)

1549cc and under is £115.00 for 12 months and £63.25 for 6 months

over 1549cc is £180.00 12 months and £99.00 for 6 months

I was looking at this last night, what a rip off.

My wife renewed her Focus 1.6 tax at the end of the month and that was £165 but the old disc was only £150.

Did we really get a 10% increase in one year, or has someone cocked up?

Edited to say thanks to Tabetha and correct my figures - it went up by 10%!!!
How come there wasn't more fuss made by the press and all of us citizens about that?
