With so many people on here making £1000 a week, how come you're all driving such utterly toss cars?!

Maybe, maybe not.

But there's a big difference between £1k a week for 6 months of the year, and £52k annual!

There sure is a big difference!

I reckon the average wage on here is probably about £15000 per annum for employed people. Self employed obviously varies depending on your business type.

Lucky if I get £1000 a month..

These people who get almost that in a week, is your job hard? As in difficult, skilled, or is it just generic labour?

Spot on!

Never done £40k per year, despite dozen odd weeks @ £1k

Thought it was common knowledge of the ability of a ol' Ford to suck up unreal ammounts of hard earned dough

I would rather be paid less and have a better quality of life,
A mate of mine was earning fortunes chasing the quids, now he is paying his fortunes to his ex wife and rugrat who fucked off because he was always working.

I get 200 quid a day ish, but I am currently only prepared to work a maximum of a 4 day week. I get a bit of other income from property and shares, which takes me to probably about a grand I suppose.

Highest ive been on was averaging 2500 or so a week almost every week of the year, so about 120K annually, but TBH im far happier now without all the stress.

Money's cool, given the choice im sure we would all sooner have more, as it gives you more option on toys etc, but not when it starts meaning your job takes over your life which is how I was half a dozen years ago, id sooner earn less but feel like work is a small part of my life not a big part.

Im in IT mate (currently working mainly for toyota), and going back half a dozen years ago 60 quid an hour was nothing TBH, I was turning down jobs on 70-80 an hour left right and centre just cause they didnt involve hammering cars round a racetrack etc like my job at the time did.

Its not quite as easy to get that sort of cash these days, but still not unheard of.

That is EXACTLY what I was thinking.

If I was earning £1000 per week, the only Ford I would own would be (if anything), my daily shitter.

I believe that there are some genuine big earners on here, but I think alot of people are basing their quoted weekly earnings on a few good weeks, which are averaged out by weeks where you earn very average money and a few weeks where you have no work atall.

BOLLOX. You own whatever car you want to own. I love old fords why does it show what you earn! Surely your property does that?

Lee, the point is that from this thread, it looks like MOST people earn £1k per week and more. Surely if you took a survey of 100 people on the street and found that 90 of them genuinely earn over £1k per week consistently, I bet hardly any of them drive Fords.

You can't really honestly tell me that if you had a GT3RS in your garage and a Sapphire Cossie or an RST that you would rather drive that than the Porsche?

If i won the lottery for example id have ferraris etc but yes id still have a mk1 escort or something and id enjoy driving it.

Why should money alter what you already enjoy?

I agree though mate i doubt half the people who say they are earning it are actually earning it all year!
I just hate people judging folk by the car they drive

regarding the survey thing. Theres a difference with driving fords and having a passion for them. Donmt ask me why people love the badge as i dont know myself what it is about them
