Default I Pod Users ??/

How do i reset my ipod when nothing works ???

Was using it in car through proper pioneer control box when it just stopped for no reason. Now i pod is froze and nothing works on it.Looked at instructions and it says turn it off with hold button across but it wont turn off or anything. Any other way to turn these things off ????

Can you not reset it through itunes when it is connected to the PC?

i think there is an option to do so.

my mate at work had greif with his recently.

he couldnt turn it off at all, literally had to wait for the battery to die then charge it up again and it was ok.
it kept on doing it to him, but has been fine since he updated the software through his pc.

my pc wont even recognise it is connected as tried that first.So looks like it let battery run flat and try that.

I bought an ipod the other week that did exactly the same. Boxed it up and sent it straight back It was the 80GB Classic

well mine not exactly new and is the 30gb video version.

Feels like i should be ripping battery out and trying that but that means taking it apart not sure i wont to do that though
