There was a transition period where I had both virgin 20 meg and bethere 24 meg so I used a dual balancing router to get a speed of 'up to 44 megabytes'
I could suck a dvd9 down in a few mins
That was fun while it lasted

i stream films from the net
is that illegal if i don't pay for them?
what about us lot with sky anytime who can watch films off the computer?
we need to be able to download and i'm sure there's not enough peole in the world or enough memory to be able to keep a record of what everyones downloaded ever and then sift through it to find that one track that they are going to prosecute you for
it's not a small enough problem and it needs too large a chunk of resources to give too small a return
unles chip gets on the books, he can type real quick

It is physically almost impossible to track every single kb of information a UK user sends and recieves per day! Far far to much!
They are probably looking to catch the dumb arse people who don't know what they are doing and leave programs like kazza and emule running 24/7! LOL
For a pro who use's newsgroups and peer blocking programs i really can't see how they are going to cope monitoring them...
Might be proved wrong though , but i seriously doubt it!
