Wellingborough is crap, so is Rushden. Northampton's your best bet for clubs/pubs.
Kettering's about 8 miles from Wellingborough, has a few more pubs than Wellingborough.

go to the cutting room and the gloucester in wellingborough both top pubs and next door to each other..
give the litten tree a miss its a pikey pub..
as for club life its ok if your a local and know a few people.just dont upset the bouncers or they will give you a few slaps.

Northampton is much bigger but is full of men and fuck all (comparitivley) birds, so you will be having a wank
