Default bought a new turbo

and have been told by stu its very laggy so i have taken it off and discovered that the 2wdmanifold its fitted to has 1 bolt left in it where the two pieces join each other and you can move the manifold sections and get a slight gap, there are also only 9 bolts holding the exhaust manifold to the head , the rest have fell out

am i right in thinkin this is the cause of my lag as the turbo is still new and has no cracks etc

When I bought mine, only 1 stud held turbo downpipe on instead of the 5 it requires, was very laggy too

I'd say yes is the answer! Make sure you use the proper ford bolts to mount the 2 pieces of the manifold together, they cost about £8 EACH, but they do the job
