Hi guys,

Quick hypothetical question...

3.5k miles old rings on a set of pistons...

Can they be re-used in a freshly bored block as 3.5k isn't a lot of miles and the bored block could still make them seal up if I used running in oil.

There was a thread on here not too long ago about it but I can't find it for the life of me.

As most ring sets are about 50-100 quid, I cant really see the point, but you will probably get away with it, dont forget it MUST be honed after its bored though.
