Help!!! Hi, Kevs dad here. He's away for weekend. Changing oil and filter on his newly aquired S2 RS 1990 model. Went to local Ford dealer and he gave me Formula S/SD 5W/40 and an EFL 90 filter. Just drained oil and taken filter off and one on was an EFL 500 which is half the size. I'm a bit of a novice with this model but have changed oil on my own cars loads of times. Appreciate any comments. Cheers

The smaller one is the right one. They will both work OK though.

I think the EFL90 is for the non-turbo CVH.

To be honest tho the oil sounds a bit thin in my experience.

i would wanna use at least 10w40 or 10w50

EFL 90 is 4wd Cossie and S1 RST but can be used on S2 as can the EFL600 (zetec filter) they all have the same thread.
