there were quite a few st's there this past weekend, but most of the dismantling seemed to be centred on an RS round the front

maybe he just needs more staff because he's got 4 ramps from what i've seen plus the hint of a set of rollers as well

Back when I had the 1.6 Focus, I was told he could get it to 200bhp for about Ł2000 - which is bollocks. I don't appreciate being bullshitted to - ok so people do exaggerate, but it's rude to assume that your customers are all gullible idiots....

There's also the issue of my mate's Puma which went in for an MOT and ended up with new lower arms/bushes and a Ł600+ bill, which is a bit steep for the part cost and required labour....

I think PB is taking in too much work and not finishing it on time... they seriously need to step back and look at the whole thing - they are going to lose customers fast!

And from my lot the way they've had Gaz & Tom's cars forever and never finished them or "recommending" even more work once the last lot is finished. Last count Tom's car has gone through 3 ECU's... Someone I know had an exhaust fitted there that kept banging & knocking. He went back with it & they couldnt fix it but a friend from the forum sorted it on his driveway with some axle stands & a poly mount for the exhaust!

I hate people like this, for this reason alone i do everything on my car myself.

I have NEVER had a garage i've been 100% with.

I went to 1 that was "ok" but it was only for a simple little job.

They did feature ATM a while back, are they honestly going to run a company down in the features section when the advertising pays the wages

Thankfully the forums normally provide a decent idea of where to go to most of the time.

i think i might have stummbled across the flaw in the workings at pumabuild

the people who fit the stuff, i would have been happy with forking out less money for the brakes that i was after and then fitting them myself and doing any mods that needed doing, such as making up a new set of brackets (or getting someone to make them for me) and i think things wouldn't have got to the level they got to

as xen said in the other post about atm, once you actually meet the person face to face and you are both aware of the situation and the problems that have been caused, in the majority of cases these problems get sorted

now, far be it for me to make sweeping juedgements and accusations about anything else they have done as i can only go on the 3 occasions i visited their premises, but it's always busy so they must be doing soemthing right surely?

or at least seeming to be doing something right in anycase

ultimatly, money makes the world go round and if the magazines are making money through their advertising and a link up with their work then i can't really see them saying "sorry, our morals are such that we cannot use you or your freebies any longer" so you get glowing reports in the magazines (who you would think you could trust after haing been in the business for 20 odd years) and the real life stories that we see posted in these sorts of threads

on the flip side, if they had fitted what i wanted and it was super smashing great i would have posted likewise and then there would still have been peole who wern't happy with their work or services

but as i can only base my recomendations on the work that was carried out i could not recommend items being fitted by them

that is all

maybe i should just write "I'M DYSLEXIC" in my sig and get it over and done with

assuming that's what you are getting at, i don't understand, you will have to point it out to me what part of the questions you want answering
