Tony

I've just had a renewal notice, and i recently noticed on your sig that there was PF discount. Does this mean you are likely to be able to reduce my premium further ????

What discount do you give PF memebers ??

cheers
Dave

it is, you ring up mention you are a member and they apply the discount, as they are an underwriters/brokers once a policy is agreed thats it i'm afraid

go online, get a quote mentioning PF and see if it comes back different

I used to recommend people to use them all the time not now though.

I had my cars insured with Greenlight for at least 5 years, my escort was off the road for a while when I re insured it they quoted me a lot more than previously even though I had 6pts taken off my licence, then when I asked if I got a better quote would they match it the said no and they were £200 more than Adrian Flux

They used to be very good but now the personal service they used to provide is gone

If you call and ask to speak to someone you've dealt with before and they ask you why?

Then once you've given them the details they ask can I help you with it........obviously not otherwise I wouldn't have asked to speak to the other person

and they have a min price for a policy.

and when you have a claim lets not go there!

Try Adrian Flux for a quote

Guys,

The PF discount varies & we give a larger discount for gold vs standard membership, so I can check to ensure that a) we're aware you're under PF scheme and b) it's at Gold level.

To qualify, we require the individual to be a pre-existing active member of the Forum (ie. contributing content as an enthusiast).

Discount wise, this can be added to your renewal in the event that it hasnt been previously recognised.

I'll check your specific case and PM you shortly Dave.

Kind regards

Tony

Dan

I'd be very interested to review every call you made to us in relation to your policy - please PM me the phone numbers that you called from and I will review the calls.

Service wise, other than processing the initial new quote applications online nothing has changed.

In order to be more efficient in relation to processing the initial quotation we made this change back in September. However, you can apply online and follow up by telephone if required.

With regard to getting through to specific people, the only time that key people here are not available would be for annual leave, development projects, training or relevant meetings.

If someone specific isnt available, our staff should ask as to whether they could help and would ask the specifics to ascertain whether they were able to do so.

I'd also like the opportunity to look at the claim, as you appear to be insinuating publically that we have a problem there - again, we emply specialists to ensure that claims run smoothly and in the event your experienced a problem why not contact me?

I've been present of PF for over 5 years now so you could have used phone or PM.

Your being a prior customer for years is very much appreciated and i'd like the opportunity to check into your case to review all involvement personally.

Can you PM me your postcode & Reg number to assist me with the policy trace.

Kind regards

Tony

Tony and his Team at Greenlight are without doubt the most professional and helpfull people i have had the pleasure of dealing with in the motor insurance industry and are now insuring both Myself and Nicole on our personal cars.

Amazingly, even though i chose them through being professional and courteous, the quote thy eventually came back with was also the bloody cheapest. Rarely can a company compete on SERVICE AND PRICE. Hats off to them.

Tony`s a top bloke,he went out of his way to sort out a very competitive quote for my modded Escos, despite the fact that they don`t usually insure anyone with a "L" postcode due to past problems.....

I ended up selling the Escos before i put it on the road, but i will definitely be approaching Tony for a quote when the Saffy policy runs out in March.....
(that`s if they will insure dodgy Scousers..)

Hi Dan,

Many thanks for the chat just now, it's always better to talk things through in person wherever possible.

Hi Shortie,

Sorry, but we currently only cover private cars.

Have you had a chance to try any commercial vehicle specialists?

Kind regards

Tony

Hi Dave,

Ive updated our record to show PF "gold" which has made a difference from renewal (further 5%).

Also, I have suggested another option - and confirmed the differences in cover via PM to you.

I'm not working tomorrow, so if you need me personally we can catch up on Monday.

In the meantime, have a good weekend.

Kind regards

Tony

and if it needs to be modified, how midified does it need to be to be eleigable for being modified?

looking for insureance for the mondeo now and the renewall has come in at nearly £400 over what i paid last year

cheers
