Default Cat 1 Alarm recommendations

I need to have a CAT 1 alarm installed but I'm looking for suggestions. I've had experiencees with Cliffird (good if correctly installed) and Autowatch (basic but good for what it did).
I can have it installed at home in East Yorkshire or Edinburgh, where I work during the week.
So if anyone has suggestions for an alarm or good experience with installers in E. Yorks or Edinburgh, please let me know.
Thanks,
Shanny

A Clifford is good but as you say only if installed properly. Try a Toad Ai606.

Toad C5T2, which is 2-1 upgrade, depending on which car you have, failing that as above ai606, the 600 was better but no longer made unfortunately, just make sure you get and keep safe your 4 number code with it, as you will need this to change settings(if you want to).
