What's Bonn (or Koblenz) nightlife like?

What's Bonn (or Koblenz) nightlife like?
I'm trying to help out a little with some stag weekend plans.
It's going to be Nürburgring based and we're wondering if we should just stay local to the ring or whether we should head up to Bonn (or maybe Koblenz) for the Friday night? Is there much in the way of bars/clubs/pole dancing?!
The 'ring doesn't open until the 5pm on the Saturday, so it's not like we'd be missing out on track time...
We've been to the 'ring several times, so we know what's available locally, we're just wondering if it would be worth the hour or so extra traveling..?

We did a job about 10 years ago in Bonn, and from what I remember it was pretty shite!............... We were about 20 at the time though

Go to Koln, not much further away than Bonn really.
Decent size city and plenty of nightlife although i went 8 years ago, things could have changed a bit. I seem to remember a couple of squares with plenty of bars, even the obligatory Irish one
I wouldnt bother with Adenau for a stag piss up really (You know how quiet it is), although you would have the bonus of being able to tie the stag naked to the Armco at Breidscheid at 4am
